Drupalcon Denver The after action report.

So another Drupalcon has come and gone and with it new insights into Drupal and where it is heading. The focus of this years conference was mobile browsing and how Drupal is becoming more mobile with the use of new technologies including responsive themes. These themes (Omega, Fusion, sasson, and others) allow for the all of the flexibility needed for todays mobile devices. In addition there were many sessions on new development tools and some amazing websites developed in Drupal over the last year. As to Drupal itself, Drupal 7 grew twice as fast as D6 in the way it was adopted and put into use. It has matured to the point that it has passed D6 in terms of the number of installs. Drupal 8 is well into the development phase. Watch for blogs over the next few weeks as we discuss how Drupal Construction will begin implementing many of the innovations we saw and experienced out in Denver. --Mike
